Haydn Wright

 

        I am a registered D.O. with a Masters degree in Osteopathy from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. I was first introduced to osteopathy at a young age after recurrent shoulder injuries from tennis, as a result I learnt about  and developed a passion for the interrelationships between posture, core strength and repetitive movements in the development of injuries.

 

        I have experience managing patients with diverse medical conditions including digestive, vascular, musculoskeletal and neurological complaints.

My approach to treatment combines mechanical techniques, to relieve dysfunction in the musculoskeletal system, with indirect and gentle tension releasing techniques to calm the neural and visceral systems.

        I work with patients to promote healthy lifestyle choices and when appropriate advises them on the utilisation of physical exercise in the continual management of their rehabilitation. When necessary, I collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, massage therapists and other healthcare professionals.

 

In my leisure time I remain a passionate tennis player and coach.
